UpaSmartHome connects directly to your authorized Smart Home controller servers. We process the following types of information strictly to operate smart home automation features:

• Account & Authentication Credentials: Device Serial Numbers, OTP tokens, and session authentication keys used to securely connect to your smart home hardware.
• Device & Sensor Telemetry Data: Real-time temperature ratings, humidity readings, battery states, relay toggle states, and system schedule configurations.
• Push Notification Identifiers: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver urgent alert notifications (e.g., low battery or security alerts).

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information solely for:

• Displaying real-time sensor dashboards and relay controls.
• Executing user-defined schedules for heating, boilers, and lighting.
• Sending real-time push alerts regarding system warnings or security events.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or telemetry data. Data is transmitted directly between your mobile device and your configured smart home backend server over encrypted connections.

4. Data Retention & Security

Your authentication credentials are stored locally on your device using Android encrypted DataStore. You can log out or clear app data at any time to remove all local credentials.
